Sevenhundred and Fifty Words for the Drowning Girl Next Door

Experience new thing. Dump sevenhundred and fifty words out of your head everyday and get refreshed, recharged. So I did. I joined. With a vague idea of what I was going to write, or how am I going to utilize this new habit I am going to grow.

I do realize, if not being used, my written English would deteriorate. The same goes for my written Bahasa Indonesia. I have to use them both to keep my brain flexible. Then again it really depends on my reading material. I would most probably be writing in English when I had been reading written materials in English.

Fortunately (or unfortunately?) the engine could only recognize things written in English. I suppose it will count any language words as long as it's written with Roman alphabets, but the tools included in it, i.e. the mood reader, etc., won't work if the submitted text is in language other than English. So yes, I must write 750 English words every day to meet the goal.

This is so far had only been the second day, and I am still struggling to write down a structured 750 words-worth piece. I only manage around 300ish words. It's just like November all over again. Toiling with at least 1750 words every single day. So, I guess, in a way this will provide excellent exercise to prepare for this year's November. Awesomeness. Although, I will definitely be writing in my mother's tongue language for the 2010 Nanowrimo Challenge.

Oh, and since the 750 words update is in English, I know what else I can use it for; The Drowning Freyja. Although I'm not entirely sure she will be up to it. Yesterday was pretty good though, she strolled in after the third sentence.

Three hundred words mark again today. But that's okay. This weekend will be spent in my mother's house, so I will need to make sure I manage to update Friday, lost Saturday, and made it up on Sunday.

sama seperti bahasa indonesia: langsung tulis, edit belakangan.
gaya bahasa sih tergantung apa yang lagi dibaca. kalau bacanya buku laporan penelitian, gaya bahasanya otomatis jadi ilmiah.
